After beasting us for 2 days David finally allows us some down time. Well, kind of. We go swimming in a river near the neighbouring town but of course there's a hike to reach the best spot.
Gorgeous place though.
And muchos fun.
Just when I think I've executed the perfect dive...
Daredevil David trumps me by leaping from the highest boulder. I think his legs could be straighter mind.
'The earth is not an inheritance from our parents but a loan from our children'
Word.
These beautiful blue/black wasps would surely concur.
In the evening David takes to a Bolo club. This is the Colombian version of 10 pin bowling but much more fun. Not a huge amount of finesse is involved; basically you lob a steel ball as hard as you can at a bunch of skittles. Wend's a natural and knocks them for six with her first effort.
That's my gal!
Sadly we say goodbye to David in the morning as we head back to Bogota. What a top fella - his poor English and our rubbish Spanish was no barrier to our having a fantastic time. Always smiling, never dull, this Brexity Trumpy world could certainly do with a few more like him.
