After spending 12 hours in the air yesterday on 2 flights and staying up late because we were all excited to see each other our jet-lagged buddies wanted a nice easy first day in Colombia.
Unfortunately for them we are in Salento, a beautiful town in a stunning part of the country where easy days are not an option.
We're out of the house early and don't return until dark by which time we've visited a coffee plantation, seen a couple of waterfalls, had a few beers, spotted about a thousand exotic birds and hiked 14 (that's FOURTEEN miles).
Yay! for this cow and Yay! for us.
